Should we care? - MyMoon

NASA and MyMoon have teamed up to blog about everything lunar. Art, literature, music, movies, science, and everything in between!

All quiet on the twitter front.

Who better to sound off on the president's new budget, and direction, for NASA than the Apollo astronauts? Buzz Aldrin certainly has. Buzz jumped right in and gave his favorable opinion after the release of the proposed budget last month.

You know, love or hate Buzz, he is certainly not one to shy away from the camera. Now, Gene Cernan and Jim Lovell are offering their insights into the new NASA direction. Cernan & Lovell's opinion stand in stark contract to Aldrin's. In short, they think the new direction is, well, not good. Harrison Schmitt has also chimed in with a negative response. With an obvious dichotomy in opinions from the men who flew and walked around on the Moon, should we listen to them? Who's right? Does anybody out there care what they have to say?
